Hugh's created a very simple way to get an orchard for your school. "Our bigger ideas are often limited by financial constraints, but with Fruitshare we have overcome this. We can't thank local business Francis Clarke enough for helping us to crowdfund trees for the school," said Daniel Hadley, teacher and sustainability officer at the Archbishop Benson School in Truro, Cornwall. Around a third of the 160,000 children at hundreds of schools will soon be growing fruit thanks to Crowdfunder - get involved!

 One of our Fruitshare friends, Abel & Cole, just love apples. Their king of the orchards, Paul Ward, grows crab apples to help pollinate all the apples that go in their weekly organic fruit & veg boxes. Normally these crab apples go to waste (or are hoovered up by Paul's greedy dog Murphy). Abel & Cole love to think up new ways of reusing and recycling, so their customers can get free crab apples this week in a tombola or with their organic whisky, for a homemade autumnal spirit.
