The great outdoors

If the weather with you has been anything like ours at River Cottage HQ, you’ll have been spending a fair bit of time outdoors of late. Perhaps you’ve been dusting off the garden furniture and busy planting up your garden, balcony or even window sill?

Our garden is shaping up nicely, thanks to our new head gardener Will Livingstone. If you need a little guidance when it comes to all things green-fingered, why not join Will for our Get Growing course? You can see just how beautiful our garden and farm is looking next weekend at our Food Fair. We’ve nearly sold out but there are a few tickets left for Bank Holiday Monday – buy yours now.

Or perhaps you’d like to add an outdoor clay oven to your garden this year – as luck would have it, we have a course for that too with the fabulous Steven Lamb.

Wherever you are and whatever the weather, we hope you enjoy this issue and get time to make some of the fabulous recipes below.
