Four weeks to go
Whip up one of these Dundee cakes and be ready for visiting friends and family this Christmas.
Our theme this week is baking and our resident expert Pam the Jam shares this classic recipe. She says: "The Dundee cake looks pretty understated, yet the inside is a sweet medley of aromatic and wholesome ingredients. Favoured for their exceptional keeping quality, good fruit cakes are also delectably moreish."
Wrapped in greaseproof paper and kept in an airtight container, this cake will keep for up to six weeks but we're betting it won't last anywhere near that long once your guests start demanding second helpings!
