"As the mornings get crisper and the seasons change so does the content in our One Day Cookery Course.
"As autumn stretches into winter we're making gnocchi with squash from the farm, to accompany slow cooked lamb shoulder. We're also teaching how to handle a freshly-dug celeriac that could pair up with mushrooms, thyme and some plump fillets of pollock (that you've filleted yourself, of course).
"It's been a great year for pears and apples and both have been finding their way into a tarte tatin, very satisfying with your homemade pastry to finish it off.
"And what better time of year to try to master bread baking, we've made thousands of loaves on our popular classes so you'll be in safe hands. It's a fun day full of good food, lots to learn and hopefully plenty to take away with you." Andy Tyrrell, course tutor
