Royalty, awards and a new book... As autumn deepens here in Devon, we've been busy foraging for mushrooms, digging over the garden and making cider. In fact, October has proved to be rather hectic so far with the highlight being the publication of Hugh’s fantastic new book, Love Your Leftovers. Meanwhile, our Chefs’ School continues to clean up at awards ceremonies, this time bringing home the Medium Employer of the Year trophy from the National Apprenticeship Awards for the South West region. On Monday, we look forward to a visit from Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, who will visit the farm to meet apprentices and chef tutor, Gary Richmond. Gary was recently honoured with the Prince Philip Medal for his outstanding professional achievements, and the Princess will be visiting to see our young chefs in action. Finally, we hate to mention Christmas so early but we’re already getting bookings for parties and New Year’s Eve. Browse our events now and don’t miss out!
