Fancy yourself as the next Hugh or know someone with a passion for food wanting to develop their skills? Then our apprenticeship scheme could be for you! Our Chefs School, in partnership with Cornwall College, is now taking applications for apprentices to start this September. The 12 month long apprenticeship offers training while you work and earn a wage in a business local to you. River Cottage has been named as one of the Top Apprenticeship employers for the last two years and our lead Chef tutor has been awarded the City and Guilds of London Institute’s Prince Philip Medal in recognition of his outstanding professional achievements. How our apprenticeship scheme works: You will attend two days training a month at River Cottage HQ studying towards a Professional Cookery Level 2 (level 3 also available for those who have already completed Level 2)  The opportunity to learn to cook the River Cottage way using fresh, seasonal and sustainable ingredients with a nose to tail approach We help to find a business local to you where you will work for the duration of the course A minimum of 30 hours (on average) per week paid at an agreed apprenticeship wage Continuous support and assessment throughout There are limited spaces available so apply now and don't miss out!
