Welcome to our May newsletter

Welcome to our May newsletter,

The team here at River Cottage HQ are gearing up for our Spring Food Fair next weekend (28-30 May), a real high point of the year for us. The kitchen garden is looking beautiful thanks to our Head Gardener Will and his team and the farm is bustling with lambs and piglets.

We are looking forward to seeing some of you down on the farm for the fair, it’s shaping up to be a fun-filled weekend, a fantastic celebration of fresh produce, and a great way to immerse yourself in the River Cottage experience.

We have almost sold out of tickets so if you haven’t already got yours then hurry as we only have a few left for the Bank Holiday Monday or why not dance the night away at our gig night with the incredible Mad Dog Mcrea on Saturday 28 May.

Last month we were delighted to welcome some of our friends from the fantastic charity Switchback, our Head Chef Gelf taught the trainees how to make pizza and bread and our lovely gardener Jim showed them around the farm and garden. Read more.

If you can't make it to the Fair then we hope to see you at HQ soon, we have a packed calendar of courses and events coming up!
