With the arrival of May comes some of the finest weather the growing season
has to offer. Warm sunshine bathes the garden with light encouraging plants
to bloom. In the fields, mischievous piglets are running around and the sound
of lambs bleating hangs in the air.
It is also a busy time for events at River Cottage, it's peak season for our courses
and most weekends we have lots of happy diners enjoying delicious
seasonal suppers. The River Cottage Spring Food Fair during the
late May Bank Holiday is undoubtably the highlight and we look forward to
welcoming you all to the farm and showing off everything that
