Even the title of our cake for this week is enough to make your mouth water. Sticky Toffee Loaf Cake with Fudge Icing is from the Loaf Cakes chapter in the book Delia's Cakes, and true to form is really easy to make. At the end of the method Delia says "Keep the cake in a tin in its liner – and it does seem to improve if kept for a couple of days before eating" Of course, it depends on whether you can resist the temptation for that long! |
