The River Cottage Food Fair is hotting up New for 2018, THE FIRE PIT is a new cooking demo area, hosted by Gill Meller where chefs will be cooking over flames. Throughout the weekend, chef demos will show us why this ancient cooking technique has become such a roaring trend in the 21st Century, and why back-to-basics cooking with fire delivers smokingly good food. Taking part: Tom Hunt | Rachel De Thample | Nick Weston | James Whetlor | Ross Geach | Ben White and of course, River Cottage's own Gill Meller plus more to be announced. Over on the Meadow Stage, highlights include Michelin-starred chef and TV regular Tom Kerridge, Anna Jones author of the fantastic A Modern Way To Eat and The Guardian columnist George Monbiot. |
