WOOD-FIRED MEAT & FISH Discover exciting ways of cooking meat & fish over fire. You'll learn the versatility of wood-fired cookery and master skills such as lighting and heat management. Afterwards you will head off with a delicious plate of goodies to tuck into and enjoy!
WOOD-FIRED VEG Learn how to prepare delicious veggie dishes on your barbecue. From grilling to smoking, you'll be amazed at what you can cook using simple techniques and ingredients. Once you've been taught how to cook over flames, you'll get to enjoy your creations.
HAPPY GUT Join Naomi Devlin and learn how to keep your gut microbes happy. You'll make dishes including a fermented pea frittata, polyphenol-rich salad and anti-inflammatory sprinkles to supercharge your digestion and soothe your immune system.
RAMEN BOWLS In this class, nutrition expert Naomi Devlin will teach you how to make a tasty Devon ramen bowl. You'll make your own noodles and fragrant broth and then combine with seasonal veg, fermented pickles and British miso to take away and eat.
GREAT CATCH During this session, our River Cottage Chefs will teach you the skills required to fillet, stuff and cook a fresh mackerel or similar fish. You will leave armed with a delicious lunch which you have made and the knowledge of how to shop for the freshest fish around.
CURING AND SMOKING In just an hour the River Cottage Chefs will teach you how to make your own bacon and chorizo. You will start with a simple dry cure that you'll add to some pork belly. You will take it away with you and in a few days, it will become your very own home-cured bacon.
GNOCCHI MAKING These tasty dumplings are surprisingly simple to make. You and your little ones will learn to make a perfect dough which you will knead and shape.
