We're very proud of the line-up for our Food Fairs. Over the years we've had some very high profile individuals join us on the farm. And this year is no exception. Here is who you can look forward to seeing this May...
YOTAM OTTOLENGHI Yotam Ottolenghi is a cookery writer and chef-patron of the Ottolenghi delis, NOPI restaurant and ROVI. He writes a weekly column in The Guardian's Feast Magazine and a monthly column in The New York Times and has published 7 bestselling cookbooks. Yotam has made two BBC documentaries - Mediterranean Feasts and Jerusalem on a Plate.
SAMIN NOSRAT Following her bestselling book Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat, which took the food world by storm Samin Nosrat now has her own Netflix seriesof the same name. Her ability to distil decades of experience into just four simple elements, combined with her wealth of food knowledge from around the world, makes her one of the most inspiring contemporary food writers
KATE HUMBLE Kate is a writer and television presenter, you'll recognise her from Springwatch, Back to the Land, Animal Park and Lambing Live to name but a few. She is the author of three books and has been a columnist for The Telegraph. She was also the first female president of the RSPB for 110 years, and is currently president of WWT.
CHETNA MAKAN In 2014, Chetna reached the semi-final of The Great British Bake Off and her first book The Cardamom Trail,a celebration of baking with Indian flavours, was published. Since then she has publishedChai, Chaat & Chutneyand most recently Chetna's Healthy Indian.
NIKI SEGNIT Niki Segnit's first book, The Flavour Thesaurus, won the André Simon Award for best food book, the Guild of Food Writers Award for Best First Book, and was shortlisted for the Galaxy National Book Awards and sold over 250,000 copies.Her latest book Lateral Cooking is a companion to The Flavour Thesaurus, which focuses on method where its predecessor focused on flavour.
BILLY WRIGHT AND JACK LAYER BBC One's MasterChef 2016 runners up duo, 'Billy and Jack' charmed viewers with their playful takes on classic British dishes. When the show came to an end they teamed up as a duo. Since then, the duo has spent time crafting their style, cooking in unusual places and bringing people together to enjoy their imaginative dishes.
