Tonight our new series, Hugh's Fish Fight: Save Our Seas, gets underway on Channel 4 at 9pm. It will launch a brand new Fish Fight campaign to help safeguard our seas, and as ever we'll need your support. Only last week we passed another major campaign milestone as a majority of MEPs voted, in the face of tough opposition, to ban discarding fish at sea. A legally-binding end to over-fishing should now be central to the new Common Fisheries Policy. It was a fantastic result for people power, and we genuinely believe it could not have been achieved without the vocal backing of our army of Fish Fighters. The thrust of our mission this time around is to ensure that our Government takes urgent action to create a network of new Marine Conservation Zones around the UK to protect vital marine habitats. So forget Valentine's Day - there's plenty more fish in the sea. Or are there? Watch our shocking video here (opens new window).
