The River Cottage barn is back! Just 18 months after a devastating fire tore through the heart of River Cottage HQ on the Devon-Dorset border, the farm’s 17th century barn is restored to its former glory. The beautiful threshing barn, which was completely gutted by the fire, looks better than ever. And to mark the occasion, over 400 of you came to help us celebrate and pronounce the barn: reopen!

River Cottage Experience Farm, forage, cook and eat! Our team of experts will give you a real taste of River Cottage.  Bite-Sized Courses These short courses are designed with the family in mind. Bring the kids, don an apron and get stuck in. Alfresco Dining A dining celebration of the River Cottage ethos where the food, location and atmosphere take centre stage. Essential Eating This course covers a range of skills in nutritious cookery, helping you make balanced choices.   Bread Using a variety of techniques, learn to make enriched dough, soda bread, pizza base and sour bread. One Day Accredited courses Book two or more courses and get a 15% discount.
