"With the start of February comes new hope for things to come - daffodils are showing their first flowers, buds are just beginning to form on the trees and the polytunnel crops gather speed.  "With everything mulched at Christmas, little weeding or hoeing is required and it leaves us time to prune the fruit trees, coppice hazel and lay the hedges around the garden. "On the farm, we have a whole host of exciting events coming up this spring. I'm particularly excited about our first River Cottage Garden Open Day on 11 April. Hope to see you there!"
