Our Cake of the Week is from the book Delia's Cakes and is one of Delia's choices for autumn.  Pear and Almond Cake with Streusel Topping is made with fresh pears, the ingredients are literally mixed together with a hand whisk taking no time at all, and the topping is simply mixed together, then sprinkled on the top before baking.
