Looking out of the window at the rolling green fields, it is hard to believe that just a week ago the whole of River Cottage HQ was under a foot of snow. Today, the fields and hedgerows are beginning to offer up their bounty, and the first forage of wild garlic has been enjoyed in the River Cottage Kitchen.
