Be inspired by the mighty vegetable

This week marks the start of National Vegetarian Week, a celebration of all things veg. From trying your hand at growing your own, to inspiring you to put vibrant, nutritious plant foods at the heart of your diet, we're big fans of the mighty vegetable.

Which is why with spring in full bloom, we've asked River Cottage Head Gardener Will Livingstone for some tips to help you get growing. And with Hugh's award-winning River Cottage Veg Everyday! and Much More Veg cookbooks in hand, we've featured some seasonal recipes below to inspire you to join us to veg out.
